Harry Kane honoured by Tottenham as mural unveiled after Ballon d'Or victory

Tottenham unveiled a digital mural of Kane at their training ground to honour his Ballon d'Or win, with Kane crediting Spurs in his acceptance speech.

Harry Kane became the first Englishman in 25 years to win the Ballon d'Or on Monday night, beating Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe. In his acceptance speech at the London Palladium, Kane paid tribute to Tottenham, saying: "I wouldn't be where I am today without Tottenham, for sure. I was there from 11 years old. With all the guidance, the coaches, you allowed me to live my dream."

Spurs have now commemorated the achievement with a digital mural displayed in the media centre at their Hotspur Way training ground, featuring Kane under the words "One of our own". Kane left the club three years ago to join Bayern Munich after scoring 280 goals in 435 appearances for Tottenham. The 33-year-old has thrived in Germany, netting 73 goals in all competitions last season for club and country.
