Messages including "Loren out" and "Loren you are our ruin" targeted the director, who orchestrated two promotions to the second tier and Málaga's return to La Liga last season. The club has managed just 5 points from a possible 33 this campaign and remain bottom of the table without a win.

Funes, who has overseen the squad planning alongside Juarros, has also drawn fan anger after failing to secure a victory in 11 league matches. The graffiti reflects growing frustration among sections of the Málaga support as the club faces a crucial week before their next fixture against fellow promoted side Racing Santander on Saturday at 14:00.
