Fabregas challenges Lens and warns: "Como penalised, priority is something else"

Fabregas warns Como are penalised by UEFA squad rules ahead of Lens trip; emphasises focus on adaptation and taking it one game at a time.

Como prepare for their Champions League trip to Lens after beating Venezia in Serie A. In their maiden European campaign, Fabregas's side have won twice (against Leipzig and Manchester United) and lost once (at Feyenoord), and another victory could be a significant step in their continental journey.

Speaking to Sky Sport, Fabregas expressed enthusiasm for the atmosphere awaiting his team at Lens: "This is a crazy environment, I played here when I was at Monaco and I like playing on nights like this. You feel a warm atmosphere, it's almost full even during warm-up. It will be a great experience for our players. Yesterday I started preparing them, charging them up. We want to play nights like these."

However, the Spanish manager urged caution, saying: "We try to win and then we'll see what happens. For us it's a season of adaptation with Europe and we must prepare for the future. A win can be a big step ahead of the last four. We think game by game, we have to enjoy it in any case." Fabregas also highlighted Como's difficulties with UEFA squad registration rules this season.
