Mikel Arteta reveals 'massive library' as Arsenal boss hits back after Liverpool controversy

Arteta defended Arsenal's controversial 1-0 win at Liverpool, claiming he has documented similar unpunished incidents across the league.

Arsenal beat Liverpool 1-0 on Sunday to claim their first win at Anfield since 2012, moving three points clear at the top of the Premier League. However, the match was marred by controversy when Jurrien Timber was not penalised for pulling Alexander Isak's shirt in the box, with Liverpool furious at the decision.

Mikel Arteta dismissed suggestions Arsenal were fortunate, insisting he has compiled a "massive library" of similar shirt-pulling incidents that went unpunished across the league. "I have a lot of clips about shirts, pulls, grabs," the Arsenal manager said. "I have a massive library that we can talk about. We're talking about one in particular, I have a massive library that we can throw there to remind everybody what every team is going through."

Arteta also referenced his recent yellow cards for leaving his technical area, noting that other managers have left the touchline far more frequently without punishment.
