Newcastle and Everton 'ready to invest' €25m for same signing – Moves for January deal

Newcastle United and Everton are among several clubs competing to sign Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara in the January transfer window. The 23-year-old Brazilian joined the Turkish champions in August 2024 after two years at Norwich City and has impressed with 10 goals and 20 assists in 101 appearances.

Both Newcastle and Everton are prepared to offer €25m for Sara's services, according to reports. However, Galatasaray are holding firm on a €35m valuation and are willing to let him leave in January. Roma, Napoli, Aston Villa and Brighton are also monitoring the situation, with Roma considering a concrete move in the coming weeks.

Brentford previously failed to sign Sara in the summer. The midfielder will face competition from multiple suitors as the January window approaches, with the gap between the clubs' offer and Galatasaray's asking price potentially determining the deal's progress.
