Milan, Costacurta attacks: "One of the worst first halves in 4-5 years"

Costacurta slammed Milan's performance in their 2-0 Europa League loss to Ferencvaros, calling it one of the worst first halves in years.

AC Milan suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Ferencvaros in the Europa League, prompting harsh criticism from former defender Alessandro Costacurta. Speaking on Sky Sport, Costacurta described the team's display as lacking determination, attention and concentration, calling it "one of the worst first halves in the last 4-5 years" and suggesting the players were "affected" in their approach.

Costacurta particularly criticized the attitude of the squad and the three players substituted by manager Amorim in the first half—Diawara, Cisse and Musah—questioning how they could take the field with such a poor mentality. He also noted that Adrien Rabiot failed to perform well. After four Europa League matches, Milan has won only once (against Salzburg) and suffered three defeats, leaving them in the lower reaches of the standings.
