Letter to Raphinha

An open letter to Raphinha congratulating his Barcelona contract renewal and urging careful management of international minutes to prevent injury.

This is an open letter to Raphinha following his contract renewal with Barcelona. The writer congratulates the winger on his deserved extension, citing his strong contributions since arriving at the club. The letter expresses concern about Raphinha's fitness management during international breaks, particularly ahead of Brazil's upcoming friendlies in Singapore. The writer references a previous injury suffered in Boston four days after playing for Rayo Vallecano, which caused Barcelona to miss him during a crucial period of the season. While acknowledging that playing for Brazil is important to Raphinha, the letter urges him to work with Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti to manage his playing time in meaningless friendlies, arguing this is not unpatriotic but rather sensible injury prevention that protects both his club and country.
