Bellinghams celebrate 'beautiful story' as Jobe joins Jude in Tuchel's England 2.0

Jobe Bellingham receives his first England call-up for Nations League matches against Croatia and Spain, fulfilling a long-held dream to play alongside his brother Jude.

Thomas Tuchel has named Jobe Bellingham to his England squad for the upcoming Nations League ties against Croatia at Wembley on Thursday and Spain in Madrid three days later. The call-up marks the first time the Borussia Dortmund midfielder will represent his country at senior level.

Jude Bellingham had personally asked Tuchel to monitor his younger brother, who captains England's Under-21s side. Jude has previously stated that playing for England alongside Jobe would be "the biggest dream of my life" and mean more than any trophy he has won. Tuchel described the brothers coming together as a "beautiful story" and noted that Jobe's presence could inspire Jude to greater heights.

The call-up is part of Tuchel's broader squad refresh as he builds towards Euro 2028. Of the 22 outfield players named, only 11 featured at last summer's World Cup. Tuchel has also recalled Ben White and added 19-year-old Josh King to the squad. It will be the first time brothers have played together for England since Gary and Phil Neville 19 years ago.
