Roberto and two more internationals out for Espanyol's November camp

Sarabia's Espanyol debut will be without Roberto Fernández (Spain), Javi Hernández (U21s) and Vanja Drkusic (Slovenia) during the November international break.

Eder Sarabia will have three notable absences when RCD Espanyol holds a training camp between 10–14 November in La Vall d'en Bas. Roberto Fernández has been called up by Spain for the second time, Javi Hernández by the U21s, and Vanja Drkusic by Slovenia.

At his pre-debut press conference, Sarabia joked that he has already told the club "for the next international break there have to be two more internationals." On Roberto, who has scored six goals this season, Sarabia said the forward "will probably have to run less in defence because we support him more and better. Don't obsess over goals—they come when you're connected to the game."

Sarabia also praised Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's recent return, saying "He's very good, I like him a lot. That performance at his age surprises me—his love for football and his genetics allow him to deliver that level." He confirmed Urko González de Zárate is unavailable, alongside injured Kike García and suspended Roger Hinojo. On goalkeeping, Sarabia indicated Marko Dmitrovic will start against Deportivo da Coruña but said that doesn't mean he'll be the regular starter, while praising Àngel Fortuño's recent form. He also hinted that Gabriel Moscardo, who has had limited minutes under previous coach Manolo González, will be "one of the surprises" of his tenure.
