How Espanyol's 3+1 internationals fared with their national teams

Espanyol's Roberto Fernández made his Spain debut in the 3-1 win over Czech Republic; Drkusic played three matches for Slovenia.

RCD Espanyol will host Málaga at La Rosaleda after the international break. Roberto Fernández made his Spain debut in the 3-1 victory over Czech Republic, starting and playing all 90 minutes—fulfilling a lifelong dream for the Puente Genil native, who became Espanyol's 49th player to debut for La Roja. Vanja Drkusic featured in three of Slovenia's four matches, accumulating 194 minutes. Javi Hernández was called up to Spain's U-21 squad but was withdrawn before the first match against Finland due to a minor muscle injury. Thomas Dean Coulombe, invited by Chile's coach Nicolás Córdova, did not make his debut.
