Sources: Leeds race Premier League rivals to sign Igor Paixao

Leeds and multiple Premier League clubs are monitoring Marseille winger Paixao, 26, as the Ligue 1 side faces financial pressure to sell.

Leeds United have joined several Premier League rivals in tracking Marseille winger Igor Paixao, 26, according to sources. Daniel Farke's side have long admired the player and made previous attempts to sign him, but now face competition from other top-flight clubs. Marseille's financial difficulties and poor recent form have made Paixao potentially available, with the club needing to reduce their wage bill. Paixao has indicated willingness to take a pay cut to stay, but the club may be forced to sell.
