Athletic Bilbao face Getafe at San Mamés seeking to end a four-game winless run, with manager Terzic's side struggling at home.
Athletic Bilbao are in crisis mode after four consecutive matches without a win—five if including the suspended Rayo Vallecano fixture. The Basque club, managed by Edin Terzic, face particular difficulties playing at home and must address their form urgently.
They host Getafe, a side often underestimated despite their recent 2–5 Conference League defeat to Lugano. Getafe have shown they can trouble San Mamés and have weathered managerial tensions before. Athletic forward Iñaki Williams described the upcoming clash as a final after Wednesday's loss to Levante, underlining how critical the match is for the Bilbao side's season.
Terzic's team must establish themselves as strong at home immediately. The pressure is mounting, and victory is essential to halt the slide.
