Bournemouth and Brentford alive to new transfer opportunity from Italy – Player has Azzurri call-up

Bournemouth and Brentford are eyeing Fiorentina centre-back Eddy Kouadio, 20, currently on loan at Monza and recently called up to Italy's national team.

Bournemouth and Brentford are monitoring Fiorentina centre-back Eddy Kouadio, who is on loan at Monza and has impressed in Serie A. The 20-year-old has featured in eight league games for Monza and earned a call-up to the Italian national team during the recent international break, though he has not yet made his debut.

Kouadio has thrived in a back-three system, operating on the right side of defence. He is strong on the ball and uses his height effectively in recovery, attributes that could suit English football. Both Bournemouth and Brentford have established relationships with Fiorentina through recent dealings: Brentford signed Michael Kayode from the club in summer 2025, while Bournemouth loaned Alex Jimenez to La Viola in the same window.
