Firm hand at Juventus
Summarised by MatchPal
Spalletti orders mandatory team concentration from Friday night through Sunday's Napoli match after Genoa defeat.
Juventus lost 2-0 at home to Genoa, a result that prompted urgent action from the club. CEO Giovanni Carnevali met with Spalletti and the squad at the Continassa training ground on Thursday for direct talks about the unacceptable run of form. While Spalletti retains his position for now, confidence is not indefinite.
In response, the manager has requested that the team remain in mandatory concentration at the JTC Continassa from Friday evening through Sunday's match against Napoli. Spalletti acknowledged the mental toll of the poor results and classification, emphasizing the need for unity and focus to turn things around immediately.
