Jack Grealish left out of Everton squad over shock club discipline breach

Everton left Grealish out of tonight's Carabao Cup squad due to a breach of club discipline; talkSPORT reports unauthorised training absences.

Jack Grealish has been ruled out of Everton's Carabao Cup fourth round tie against Newcastle tonight after the club confirmed he breached club discipline. The 31-year-old forward, on loan from Manchester City, has made five appearances for David Moyes's side this season, starting three Premier League matches. Everton revealed the news via social media, stating: "Jack Grealish is unavailable for selection due to a breach of Club discipline." According to talkSPORT, the breach relates to unauthorised absences from training. Grealish also missed Everton's 2-0 loss to Arsenal at the weekend, which the club attributed to illness at the time.
