I don't understand the doubts

Barcelona manager defends team after Clásico loss, urging patience and backing the squad's ability to compete for La Liga.

Barcelona lost the Clásico to Real Madrid in an evenly contested match, but the club's manager has dismissed calls for panic or radical changes. The manager acknowledged it was a balanced game that could have gone either way, with Madrid perhaps showing more experience and exploiting pace in attack, while Barcelona had chances to win. A poor clearance led to Madrid's opening goal, but the manager felt the overall quality of football suggested the match deserved a draw.

Rejecting apocalyptic talk and calls to change personnel or tactics, the manager stressed that one defeat does not derail a team that has been performing well. He pointed out that even a win would not have secured La Liga, and questioned why anyone should doubt Barcelona's chances now. Drawing on manager Flick's perspective that the season is long, he emphasized the need to maintain clarity of ideas and continue on the same path. The manager also noted that Real Madrid celebrated La Liga in October last season, implying there is plenty of football left to play.
