Oihan Sancet has returned to Athletic Bilbao's squad for today's derby against Real Sociedad after missing four matches with a soleus muscle injury. The midfielder is not in the starting XI chosen by manager Edin Terzic but is expected to feature in the second half as one of the club's key players.

Speaking to DAZN pitchside at San Mamés, Sancet confirmed his fitness: "The sensations are very good, I have no pain at all. I will try to help the team in everything I can." He emphasized the significance of the fixture, noting that "a derby is a derby" with its own special rivalry and appeal.

Sancet acknowledged Real Sociedad's strong form, with the visitors arriving on a run of four consecutive league wins. However, he stressed that derby matches are unpredictable: "They are in a good moment with several wins in a row, but this is a different match, anything can happen."
