Flick receives recognition from the city of Barcelona

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick received the Ramblista de Honor 2026 award from the Amics de La Rambla association for his commitment and the club's sporting success.

The Amics de La Rambla association honoured Barcelona manager Hansi Flick on Monday with the Ramblista de Honor 2026 award, alongside art historian Judith Subirachs and Granja Viader, the company that invented Cacaolat. The award, given annually since 1961, was presented at Barcelona's City Hall in a ceremony presided by mayor Jaume Collboni.

The jury praised Flick for his "commitment, values, perseverance and faith in youth", as well as for bringing joy and celebrations to Barcelona's Canaletes Rambla through the club's sporting achievements. Flick was absent, focused on Monday's Champions League match against Aston Villa at the Spotify Camp Nou, so Barcelona's sporting vice-president Rafael Yuste collected the award on his behalf. Flick recorded a brief video message thanking the association for the recognition.
