Celtic fans clash furiously over Martin O'Neill's future as Premier Sports Cup ticket 'scandal' called out – Hotline

Celtic fans remain divided over manager Martin O'Neill's future, with debate intensifying over domestic form and recruitment decisions.

A heated debate has erupted among Celtic supporters over manager Martin O'Neill's position, with opinion sharply divided. Supporters calling for patience argue O'Neill has done well despite having limited control over recruitment in recent transfer windows, while critics contend his team is performing poorly domestically and that he is out of his depth. One long-time fan claimed it is the worst Celtic side they have seen in 45 years and predicted Rangers will dominate unless changes are made immediately.

The discussion also touched on other Scottish football matters, including James Penrice's call-up to the Scotland squad shortly after joining Rangers, and controversy over VAR decisions in recent matches. Hibernian fans defended their team against criticism from Rangers and Hearts supporters following their recent cup victories, while concerns were raised about ticket pricing for the Premier Sports Cup Final at Hampden, with some calling £27 children's tickets a scandal.
