Gasperini's quip has everyone laughing: "Napoli-Lazio and Inter-Como? We're all perched like owls..."

Roma beat Sassuolo 3-0 to reach 27 points; Gasperini jokes that all title contenders are perched nervously like owls watching rivals' results.

Roma secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Sassuolo, extending their unbeaten run to 18 league matches and climbing to 27 points. The win provided relief after recent defeats to Real Madrid and Manchester City in European competition.

Manager Gian Piero Gasperini praised his team's performance, highlighting Hermoso's opening goal as a turning point. He acknowledged the demanding schedule of nine matches in 27 days but emphasized that the squad's level of play remained high despite the losses to elite European sides. Gasperini was critical of Manchester City's comeback, attributing it to "an absurd penalty."

When asked if he would settle for second place, Gasperini smiled and declined, noting that Inter remain favorites but the title race is competitive. He concluded with a humorous observation that all contenders are "perched like owls" watching each other's results, particularly as Napoli face Lazio and Inter play Como in upcoming fixtures.
