'Amazing...' - Stefan Borson suggests Unai Emery could join Man United in unexpected twist

Stefan Borson suggests Emery could join Manchester United in future despite signing new Aston Villa deal until 2029.

Former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson has suggested that Unai Emery could potentially move to Manchester United in the future, despite being on the verge of signing a new contract at Aston Villa that would keep him there until summer 2029.

Borson told Football Insider he wouldn't be surprised if Manchester United could tempt the 55-year-old Spaniard to Old Trafford under the right circumstances. "Would he go to United in certain circumstances? It wouldn't surprise me if there were circumstances where, if he was given conditions that he was happy with, he would go to Manchester United," Borson said. "I think there are ways in which Manchester United could get him."

While a move this season appears impossible with Michael Carrick currently in charge, the article suggests Emery could be a target for United in future years if their managerial situation changes.
