Iraola unlucky in cup draw: 'This is exactly what I didn't want'

Liverpool drawn against Bournemouth in League Cup quarter-finals; Iraola, who recently joined Liverpool from Bournemouth, expressed frustration at facing his former club.

The League Cup quarter-final draw has paired Liverpool with Bournemouth, much to the dismay of Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola. The Spanish manager only recently moved to Liverpool from Bournemouth at the start of this season and had hoped to avoid an additional fixture against the club he still holds dear. With six other possible opponents available, Iraola was unfortunate to see his former side drawn from the pot following Liverpool's cup victory over Chelsea.
