An excellent deal – Brighton backed to complete €35m move for 'new Huijsen'

Brighton are tracking Juventus winger Adin Licina, currently on loan at Cremonese, with a €30m–€35m move mooted as Juve consider sales.

Brighton have been monitoring Juventus winger Adin Licina and are backed to move quickly if the opportunity arises. The 19-year-old German joined Juve from Bayern Munich earlier this year and was loaned to Serie B side Cremonese for the season, where he has contributed to three goals in seven games.

Journalist Gianni Balzarini suggested on his YouTube channel that Juve are open to selling Licina for economic reasons, with Brighton and RB Leipzig both in the race. Balzarini indicated a fee of €30m–€35m would represent "an excellent deal" for the Italian club, comparing Licina's potential trajectory to Dean Huijsen, who left Juve for Bournemouth. "That boy here will be worth 70 million in two years," Balzarini said.

Brighton are not rushing the move and are waiting to assess Licina's continued development at Cremonese before capitalising on the opportunity.
