Chelsea have broken Estevao promise and 'next Neymar' will want out

Estevao has started just four times in his preferred No.10 position since joining Chelsea, and is now struggling for minutes under Xabi Alonso this season.

Estevao arrived at Chelsea as one of the world's most sought-after teenagers, with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Arsenal all interested. He impressed in his first season with 12 goal contributions in 36 appearances, but has since fallen down the pecking order.

Under new manager Xabi Alonso, the 19-year-old Brazilian has played in his preferred central attacking position just four times in 44 total appearances. This season he has failed to score or assist in eight matches and has not started a Premier League game, instead being deployed as a right winger when selected.

Chelsea's subsequent signings of Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers have further limited his opportunities. South American football journalist Tim Vickery told talkSPORT that Estevao is unhappy with the situation and may seek an exit, having chosen Chelsea partly because the club promised to play him as a No.10. Barcelona are reportedly monitoring his situation, with Alonso himself admitting the forward is not content. However, only the world's richest clubs could afford to sign him should he leave.
