Brugué: "They are mistakes, but we all failed"

Levante forward Brugué defended his team's performance after a 0-2 home defeat to Atlético Madrid, saying errors were collective and praising their attitude.

Levante lost 0-2 at home to Atlético Madrid on Saturday. Forward Roger Brugué spoke after the match, downplaying a teammate's error that led to Atlético's opening goal. "They are mistakes, we have to correct them, we are a team, we all fail and what matters is the attitude, which has been good," he told Movistar+.

Brugué regretted not being more clinical with clear chances they had to at least make it a tight finish at the Ciutat de València, where Levante had been on a good run. "We wanted to win at home again, where we were in a very good dynamic. We had some errors but we had a couple of very clear situations that would have put us right in it. I think we played well, now to keep going and learn," he concluded.
