Terzic: "I have the best goalkeeper in the world"

Terzic praised Unai Simón's performance in Athletic's derby against Real Sociedad, crediting the goalkeeper's saves in the first half while noting his side created plenty of chances.

Athletic manager Edin Terzic analysed his side's derby performance against Real Sociedad, highlighting goalkeeper Unai Simón's crucial contribution. "I have the best goalkeeper in the world," Terzic said. "We knew that before he received the trophy. He saved us in the first half, that's true, but we also created a lot of opportunities."

Terzic felt Athletic started well in the opening 20 minutes but struggled when Real Sociedad packed the midfield. He adjusted the system to allow his players to operate on the wings and managed to counter the threat, though he acknowledged there is room for improvement in transitions.
