Grealish remains disciplined at Everton after missing training

Grealish remains suspended by Everton after missing training following two days of partying; manager Moyes says there is a path back.

Jack Grealish is facing disciplinary action at Everton after skipping a training session, reportedly following two consecutive days of partying. The club excluded the Manchester City loanee from victories over Newcastle in both the League Cup (3-1) and Premier League (0-1).

Everton initially cited fitness concerns for Grealish's absence from the St James' Park match, but the underlying reason was the missed training. Manager David Moyes told the BBC after the 0-1 win that Grealish's future at the club remains uncertain, though he indicated the door is not permanently closed. Moyes said he and the club will make a decision on Grealish's disciplinary status once the player is ready to return to action.

Grealish, on loan from Manchester City, is attempting to revive his career at Everton after a difficult previous season in which he scored twice in 22 appearances before suffering an injury in January. He has featured in just six matches this season. Everton's next fixture is at home to Coventry on Friday.
