Jack Grealish told to make his feelings clear to Everton players in new twist - expert

Grealish faces an extended spell out after missing training; Moyes demands he earn his way back into the squad.

Jack Grealish has been sidelined at Everton after breaching club discipline by failing to report for training last week. Manager David Moyes has excluded him from recent matches against Newcastle in both the Carabao Cup and Premier League, and sources suggest the 31-year-old has upset teammates with his actions, which have been labelled "unforgivable".

Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Moyes is "not happy" with the situation and will not simply reinstate Grealish. While Moyes has indicated there is a path back and a potential future for the winger, Grealish must prove his commitment through hard work in training and demonstrate to both the manager and supporters that he wants to be part of Everton's project.

The incident raises fresh doubts over Grealish's long-term future at Everton. He is set to become a free agent next summer, and there had been expectations of a permanent deal following two loan spells. However, his disciplinary breach and the unhappiness among teammates mean he now faces a difficult task to convince Moyes he deserves a recall to the first-team squad.
