Grealish unavailable again for Everton

Grealish remains unavailable for Friday's Coventry clash after a breach of club discipline; Moyes says they will work with him again soon.

Jack Grealish is unavailable for Everton's Premier League match against Coventry on Friday, manager David Moyes confirmed on Thursday. The on-loan Manchester City midfielder has missed the Toffees' last two games—against Newcastle in the Premier League and Carabao Cup—following what the club describes as a "breach of club discipline", understood to stem from an unauthorised absence from training.

Moyes said Grealish still has a future at the club but remained guarded about the timeline for his return. "I wouldn't give you the plan but we will be working with Jack again soon," Moyes said. When asked if the upcoming international break could help resolve the issue, he added: "We just need to wait and see how things go."

Grealish, 31, is on his second loan spell at Everton after falling out of favour at Manchester City despite his £100m transfer in 2021. He scored twice in 22 games during last season's loan but has made only six appearances this term before the disciplinary issue.
