Real Madrid appears to be landing Manchester United's top talent

The 16-year-old English forward has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid and wants to leave Manchester United, though the clubs have not yet negotiated.

JJ Gabriel, a 16-year-old English striker at Manchester United, has reportedly agreed personal terms with Real Madrid and is set to leave Old Trafford. Gabriel expressed his desire to depart in mid-September and has since been absent from the club, attracting interest from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. According to Sky Sports, Real Madrid has reached a verbal agreement with the teenager, and Gabriel and his representatives have given the green light for a move to the Spanish capital. United has not yet held formal discussions with Real Madrid about a transfer. Gabriel holds an EU passport, which permits his move abroad despite his age. Under English youth player regulations, Gabriel cannot simply transfer to another Premier League club; if he leaves for a non-Premier League side, United is entitled to compensation, though the amount is lower for moves outside England.
