Newcastle fan wants Matthias Jaissle gone and replaced by sacked Premier League manager

Newcastle fan Steve called talkSPORT to demand manager Jaissle be sacked and replaced by former former Spurs boss Thomas Frank after four defeats in five games.

Newcastle's manager Matthias Jaissle is facing mounting pressure after just three months in charge at St James' Park. The Magpies slumped to a 1-0 home defeat against Everton on Monday, their fourth loss in five games, leaving them 13th in the Premier League. They were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup by the same opposition days earlier.

On talkSPORT Breakfast, Newcastle supporter Steve called for drastic action, arguing Jaissle is "well out of his depth" and lacks a clear style of play. Steve suggested Thomas Frank, the former Brentford and Tottenham manager, as a replacement. Frank has been out of work since being sacked by Spurs in February and has been linked with Premier League vacancies at Fulham and Crystal Palace, though he has stated he is not rushing into his next role.
