Spanish football has mobilised to support the family of Jesús de Miguel, a 30-year-old footballer who died on Tuesday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A crowdfunding campaign launched by Fran Sol on GoFundMe, initially targeting €5,000, has surpassed €98,000 with donations from prominent players including Pedro Porro, Marc Bartra, Álvaro Morata, Álex Baena, Carles Aleñá, Álvaro Fidalgo and Peter Federico. Clubs across LaLiga Hypermotion are contributing directly. UD Las Palmas will wear their white and blue third kit on Sunday against CD Eldense as a tribute to Tenerife, and Valencia will fly the Tenerife flag at half-mast during Saturday's match against Real Madrid.

LaLiga, the Spanish Football Federation and Liga F will organise a joint tribute during matches from 6–9 November, with players wearing shirts bearing the number 9 and the message 'Always in our memory', a minute's silence and a stoppage at the 9th minute. CD Tenerife will hold an open memorial service at their stadium on Saturday.
