Juan Iglesias: "We've done all the merits to take the victory"

Sevilla defender Juan Iglesias felt the team deserved victory after a goalless draw with Alavés, saying they dominated but the ball wouldn't go in.

Sevilla drew 0-0 with Alavés, and defender Juan Iglesias expressed frustration with the result despite his side's dominance. Speaking to DAZN LaLiga, Iglesias said the team had "done all the merits to take the victory" and "spent practically the entire match in the opponent's field," but acknowledged that "there are matches where the ball doesn't go in." He praised the team's work and dynamic, calling it "the essence of this team," and lamented dropping points. Sevilla's next fixture is the derby against Betis at the Sánchez-Pizjuán after the international break, which Iglesias said the squad is prepared for.
