Six pundits predict Chelsea vs Man United result with everyone expecting the same outcome

Pundits unanimously back Chelsea to beat Manchester United in today's Premier League clash, with Carrick's job security hanging in the balance.

Manchester United travel to Stamford Bridge for a fixture that could prove decisive for manager Michael Carrick's future. Despite being retained this week, Carrick faces mounting pressure, and a loss could spell the end of his tenure.

Chelsea arrive as heavy favourites after recent mixed results—a Carabao Cup exit to Liverpool and a home defeat to Tottenham—but pundits see them as clear winners. Peter Crouch predicted Chelsea 2-1, citing United's injury problems and recent poor form. Mark Goldbridge also backed Chelsea, arguing their rigid system poses problems United cannot solve, and suggested this may be Carrick's final game. Steve Sidwell and Liverpool legend Steve Nicol both predicted Chelsea victories, with Nicol emphasising the need for United players to take responsibility. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and John Mikel Obi rounded out the consensus, backing Chelsea to capitalise on United's struggles.
