Chelsea XI vs Manchester United: Predicted lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Cole Palmer returns from suspension for Chelsea's clash with Manchester United, but Joao Pedro remains sidelined with a thigh injury expected to keep him out for several weeks.

Chelsea will have Cole Palmer available for Saturday's Premier League match against Manchester United after serving a one-game suspension from his red card against Tottenham. The Blues talisman missed Wednesday's Carabao Cup penalty defeat to Liverpool.

Manager Xabi Alonso confirmed that Joao Pedro will miss several more weeks with a thigh injury, while Maxence Lacroix is expected to be sidelined until after the November international break following a hamstring injury sustained at Anfield. Reece James remains out until January after knee surgery.

On a positive note, goalkeeper Emi Martinez is expected to make an earlier-than-expected return from a broken jaw, with Alonso suggesting there is a chance he could feature before the international break. Malo Gusto and Moises Caicedo are both fit despite playing through pain at Liverpool.
