Simon Jordan has lost the plot with 'catastrophic' on-air West Ham manager verdict

Simon Jordan criticised for questioning West Ham's sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo despite admitting he hasn't watched them much this season.

West Ham have sacked manager Nuno Espirito Santo after just 13 Championship games, with the team sitting eighth, six points off top spot. Scott Parker is set to replace him.

While the league position might not appear dire on paper, West Ham's defensive vulnerabilities have been alarming—they conceded six goals in two recent games against Southampton and West Brom. The club's decision to make the change is widely viewed as necessary to secure automatic promotion.

Pundit Simon Jordan questioned the decision on talkSPORT, arguing that being six points off the top after 13 games doesn't constitute a crisis. However, he acknowledged he hasn't watched West Ham enough this season to properly assess their performances. Former scouts have backed the managerial change as sensible, with Parker among several candidates considered including Rob Edwards, Sean Dyche, Thomas Frank and Craig Bellamy.
