Allegri before Porto-Napoli: "We are 13, we can't even do a rondo". And on the market...

Allegri says Napoli have only 13 fit players ahead of Porto Champions League tie and will need to suffer defensively.

Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri held his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's Champions League fixture at Porto. The Italian coach emphasized the scale of his injury crisis, stating the squad is so depleted they cannot even complete a basic training drill. "We are 13 players, we can't even do a rondo because we don't cover the midfield circle," Allegri told Sky Sport. He stressed that despite the absences, they cannot use injuries as an excuse and must be prepared to suffer on the pitch in Portugal. Allegri also remained non-committal on the fitness of De Bruyne, who left early in Napoli's recent Serie A loss to Juventus, saying he would assess the squad in training before deciding who is available.
