Summarised by MatchPal
Bruno Fernandes says Carrick was justified in benching him for tactical criticism; he inspired United's 3-2 Champions League win over Roma.
Bruno Fernandes acknowledged that Manchester United manager Michael Carrick was right to drop him from the squad after he publicly criticised the team's tactics last month. Fernandes returned to action and played a key role in United's dramatic 3-2 Champions League victory against AS Roma, demonstrating his importance to the side. The midfielder's comments suggest he has accepted the manager's disciplinary decision and is focused on moving forward.
