Michael Carrick has 5 Man United players he MUST start in 'all or nothing' Aston Villa fixture

Carrick's job security hinges on Sunday's Aston Villa match after United's 3-2 Champions League comeback over Roma; the article identifies five players he must start.

Michael Carrick faces a crucial fixture against Aston Villa on Sunday as Manchester United's head coach fights for his future. The match comes after a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over AS Roma in the Champions League midweek, which temporarily eased pressure following earlier defeats to Chelsea and Roma's first half dominance.

With his position under scrutiny and the club filming Amazon Prime's 'All or Nothing' documentary, Carrick's team selection will be critical. The article identifies five players the manager must start: goalkeeper André Onana, defender Leny Yoro (who impressed against Roma despite the overall defensive struggles), midfielder Kobbie Mainoo (described as United's best midfielder), winger Alejandro Garnacho (who made an impact off the bench with an assist), and striker Matheus Cunha (who has struggled when leading the line but showed promise in a deeper role).

United will be without Lisandro Martínez due to suspension, and Patrick Dorgu's fitness will determine the left-back situation. The article suggests Yoro could move inside to partner Harry Maguire or Matthijs de Ligt if needed.
