Napoli, Allegri's pre-Lazio press conference cancelled

Allegri's pre-match press conference ahead of Monday's Lazio clash was cancelled minutes before it was due to start at 3pm.

Napoli manager Allegri's pre-match press conference scheduled for 3pm on Friday was cancelled just minutes before it was due to begin, with the media room already full. The cancellation came as the club deals with fallout from a heavy 4-1 Champions League defeat to Porto midweek, which saw on-field tensions including an exchange between Lucca and De Bruyne caught on camera. After the match, players including McTominay and Hojlund made critical comments about the team's performance. President De Laurentiis visited the training ground on Friday to be close to the squad, which is now in hotel isolation. Napoli face league leaders Lazio on Monday at 12:30pm, with Allegri managing a depleted squad due to injuries, though Olivera is expected to return.
