Equalling Luis is a gift from many footballers, I don't feel it as my own

Simeone praised his team's performance after a 2-0 win over Levante, highlighting their second-half dominance and clinical finishing.

Atlético Madrid defeated Levante 2-0 in a commanding display. Simeone was pleased with his team's work, noting that Levante started brightly and forced an important save from Oblak early on, but Atlético grew into the match and found attacking opportunities. After an initially disallowed goal, the team's confidence grew and they scored. The second half saw Atlético dominate, with Simeone praising the quality of their second goal as "a screamer". He highlighted the importance of their attacking transitions, particularly Baena's vision in setting up Giuliano's clinical finish. Defensively, Levante's high pressing and crossing game made things difficult in the closing stages, but Atlético held firm. Simeone emphasized the importance of taking things match by match and maintaining humility, while also reflecting on equalling Luis Aragonés' record, which he described as a gift from the many players who have followed his methods rather than something he feels is personally his.
