Oliver Glasner tipped to 'go back to Crystal Palace' after leaving Nottingham Forest - expert

Expert suggests Glasner could return to Crystal Palace if sacked by Nottingham Forest, where he faces pressure after one win in nine games.

Oliver Glasner's future at Nottingham Forest is in serious doubt after a poor start to the season, with the club winning just one of their opening nine Premier League matches. The Austrian manager left Crystal Palace in the summer after his contract expired, having spent two successful years at Selhurst Park before departing on poor terms with chairman Steve Parish. According to experienced scout Bryan King, Glasner only joined Nottingham Forest for the financial package on offer, and could well return to Palace if he is dismissed. Glasner faces a crucial test against Manchester City on Saturday before the international break, with further difficult fixtures against Bournemouth, Chelsea, Hull City and Brighton to follow. The manager acknowledged the pressure, saying "it's now time to show a clear way and everybody has to follow," and hinting that a sixth managerial change could be imminent if standards do not improve.
