'I'm amazed it's come so quickly' - Expert: Oliver Glasner 'writing his obituary' already at Nottingham Forest

Keith Wyness warns Glasner is 'writing his own obituary' with public criticism after Brentford loss, as tensions with owner Marinakis escalate quickly.

Former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness has warned that Nottingham, former Forest manager Oliver Glasner is creating unnecessary problems for himself through his recent public comments following the defeat to Brentford. Glasner suggested that another managerial change would not solve the club's issues and appeared to criticize both the players and the decision-makers at Forest.

Wyness believes Glasner is walking a tightrope by making such statements publicly, particularly given the anticipated friction between the Austrian and owner Evangelos Marinakis. With Forest already in the relegation zone after winning just one of their opening nine Premier League games and scoring only six league goals, tensions are running high at the City Ground.

While Wyness feels Glasner deserves more time to stabilize the team, he warns that the situation between manager and owner is coming to a head faster than expected. He suggests that only wins on the pitch can prevent the relationship from deteriorating further. Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown has also warned that Glasner risks being undermined by a squad that has already managed to get four managers sacked in the last 12 months.
