De Laurentiis arrives at Castel Volturno amid Napoli crisis

De Laurentiis made an unscheduled visit to meet the squad and staff amid a crisis of seven defeats in 14 games; the team enters a retreat in Pozzuoli from tonight.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis cut short his absence and arrived at Castel Volturno to meet the squad and coaching staff following a difficult run of form. The club has won just seven of its last 14 matches and tensions have emerged within the dressing room. De Laurentiis's visit underscores the urgency of the situation and his desire to support the group during this critical period.

Starting tonight, a day earlier than usual, the squad will enter a retreat in Pozzuoli ahead of Sunday's match against Lazio at the San Paolo stadium, scheduled for 12:30. Most players will participate, including those currently sidelined by injury. Defender Olivera could potentially return to the bench for the Lazio fixture, while Marianucci will miss the game through suspension.
